Service with the Federal Mission Liaison
James extensive experience in intelligence analysis, covert diplomacy and high-risk field work combined with an impressive ability to stay calm and use his skills under intense pressure has made him one of our most valuable assets. After being promoted to Senior Special Agent he has been put in charge of especially high-risk missions as well as evaluating new recruits, often serving a mentoring role.
His former ward and now permanent partner Ashlyn Connor was seen as a particularly impressive success. She was a controversial recruitment but with his mentorship she has florished. They hit it off unexpectedly well personality-wise and with their complementary skill sets they have been an exceedingly dependable team.

Firearms

Close Quarter Combat
- Basic skills in the practical close quarter combat techniques taught at the FML.
Infiltration
- Basic skills in forceful physical infiltration techniques like lock picking, forced entry, climbing etc.
- Beyond exceptional social engineering and manipulation skills allowing him to gain unauthorized access and avoid detection even in plain sight.
- Basic to intermediate skills in using electronic infiltration tools to bypass alarms, electronic locks, biometric verification etc.
Technology and Electronics
- Very basic skills in practical cyber security. Long considered one of his blind spots. Just seems uninterested.
- Adequate to good theoretical understanding, somewhat mitigating this weakness.
